We want everyone to feel welcome at Barkers Home. We understand that every visitor has different needs, and we aim to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

ARRIVING AT THE STORE

Barkers Home has two entrances, both fitted with automatic doors.

Entrance access: One entrance has steps and a ramp to provide an alternative route into the store.

Wheelchair access: Wheelchair access is available at both entrances.

Assistance: If you need any help when arriving, please ask a member of our team, who will be happy to assist where possible.

GETTING AROUND BARKERS HOME

Barkers Home is home to a range of departments, including Furniture, Linens, Beds, Bespoke Interiors, Luggage, Cook, Wine & Dine, Lighting and Frank's The Flooring Store.

Floors and access: Two floors are open to customers, with both a lift and stairs available to access them.

Walkways and displays: We aim to provide spacious walkways to help customers move around the store comfortably. If you need assistance navigating the store or reaching items on display, please ask a member of our team.

Seating: Seating is available for customers who need to take a break. Please ask a member of staff if you need assistance locating a seat.

Staff assistance: Our team is here to help wherever possible. We can assist with finding departments and exits, reaching items on display, and carrying purchases around the store or to your car.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Toilets: Customer toilets are available on the first floor, including accessible toilets next to our Linens Department and adjacent to our Tree View Café.

Tree View Café: The café can be accessed via the lift or stairs.

Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the store and in our café and restaurant areas.

Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs are available for customers to use while shopping in store. They are located at both entrances. Please ask a member of staff if you need assistance. Subject to availability. 

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

Parking: Free parking is available at the front and rear of the store, including designated disabled parking spaces.
